This necklace is an exact reproduction of one worn by Martha Washington. They are made with seed and glass pearls. The drop down menu identifies the length as choker or necklace, and how long it is. The choker has a plain brass slide clasp, and the longer necklace has a leaf swirl gold-plated clasp. I could take the clasp off and just add rings so that you could close it with a ribbon if wearing for living history or just like that style.

The Preciosa seed bead/glass pearl choker is 13 inches long. The seed bead/glass pearl necklace is 16-3/4 inches long with the clasp. All versions are amazing, and excellent quality work made with silk thread. These are NOT stretchy.

It can be worn for your historical costuming or everyday. It is unique and exclusive to my shop. You receive one (1) necklace.

The last photo is Martha's original which was backed by a silk ribbon - but I am unsure if that was added to give structure to the necklace when it was made or later on to preserve its fragility. It also looks like it may have broken and been longer. First photo is of me wearing it for everyday, and the fifth photo is of Heather Kenney while at Military Thru the Ages.
