Ask a question

These are wonderful miniatures in a laurel leave frame. The portraits are printed and taken from originals. Just lovely and can be worn on a chain or pendant.

The drop down menu should be in order of the pictures. When in doubt, please ask!

- First photo shows the Elizabeth and Alexander Hamilton
- Second photo is an Unknown Gentleman and Prince Charles Edward Stuart by William_Mosman
- Third photo are - Portrait of a Young Man Wearing a Red Cape and Large Hat, ca. 1795-1800, by Francois-Xavier Fabre and - Miss Corbetta Owen by Thomas Gainsborough (1760s)
- Fourth photo is - Portrait of a young boy by Thomas Hill Mitcham (this one actually shows a sleeve button (or cuff link closing his shirt) (also photo 4)
- Fifth photo is Mary Queen of Scots and Anne of Denmark on a wreath frame with NO glass cabochon covering them)
- Last photo is of George Washington 1783 and a Lover's Eye (sold in a separate listing on a wreath frame)

My pendants only hold a picture. If you would like a special loved one's eye made into a pendant, please contact me for specifics as I can do special orders. These would require high resolution photos directly of the face and/or eye. I have many types of findings - either silver or gold/brass, antiqued brass, and silver in which to use.

Any attempts at doing a custom miniatures are non-refundable. This is due to the fact of the time it takes for me to make it, and the use of the glass cabochons that make the image permanent. The look in the glass cabochon, which magnifies the eye, is DIFFERENT than putting it under plain glass or in a locket.

Miniatures are fine small portraits given as love, non-romantic friendship, political allegiance, or memorial tokens between husbands, wives, parents, children, etc. The quality of the settings reflected their importance and the wealth of their giver. (Snipets taken from "Georgian Jewelry" by Ginny Redington Dawes with Olivia Collings.)"
