This listing is for a lovely pin ball ring that I had made just for my shop. It measures 2 inches round. It is SO elegant as well as useful! There is a ring on it so you can hang it from a chain, ribbon, or your sewing equipage/chatelaine. It comes in silver, gold, and a matte gold. The matte silver will be available soon.
This listing is only for one ring - not the ball. The inside is 1-7/8 inches, and a pin ball created is about 7-8 inches round when totally finished.
This is a reproduction. It can be worn for pretty much for impressions in the 17th century up into the mid-19th century. My research on pin ball rings is that they may have still been used during the 19th century if someone had one, but you start to see pin ball wheels on original chatelaines.
Convo me if you have questions.
Fourth photo is The Mutual Embrace dated 1774 showing the woman with a pin ball hanging from her petticoat. The original pin ball ring that I based this upon is in the last photo, and was from the 17th century. Photo credit is from Genevieve Cummings author of Chatelaines: Utility to Glorious Excellence. Mine is not exact.
