I've created three styles of watch chain necklaces as seen often in the late 18thC t and early to late 19th centuries. The single strand of brass or silver chain is so prevalent throughout time that it should be a mainstay in your reenacting, living history, or everyday life! These necklaces are different lengths doubled over as I have them made up with one swivel clip. I can add a vintage brass or silver-plated clasp on it so that it can be more versatile when hanging it from your clothing or neck but must know that info beforehand if interested as it is extra!

This could also be used as a Regency or Victorian watch chain - they draped them around their neck - and the watch would be either fastened to a sash or belt or there was a watch pocket (fob) sewn into the gown for it to go into. There were also occasions that the item worn was not a watch, but was fake and there have been patch boxes made to look like it was a watch case hanging from the chain. You also see pendants, miniatures, crosses, quizzing glasses or other items hanging from them.
