This is a really beautiful mother of pearl rectangle and round knotted beaded necklace. It actually is made with silk thread and I found two in a second hand shop. This type can be worn with ribbon tied in a bow over this modern clasp if wearing for living history. It measures 17 inches long and is truly gorgeous.
The inspiration came from Regency fashion prints.
