These are really beautiful lapis lazuli or green striped malachite cabochon earrings set in a historical style. They are gold plate probably over copper with a leverback. They measure just 1-1/2 inches long and a little over 3/4 inches wide.
They also can be worn at any time and with anything! They are reminiscent of earrings seen in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. These would look lovely with a gown at a prom, for dance, weddings, confirmation, to work, or your living history needs. Just so gorgeous.
