This is a lovely Swarovski Crystal Cross that is delicate, lightweight, and so close to the original Jane Austen cross - but smaller than my other style made into earrings. The shapes are very close to what Jane Austen and her sister Cassandra wore and I am so pleased to be making them from vintage findings in brass with crystals. The crosses that they wore were small.
Wouldn't it be so wonderful to have your sister or bestie wear these with you? Perfect for everyday, costuming, or living history. They are as close as I have seen for a Jane Austen Topaz cross anywhere and I offer them in other colors! Re-purposing which is what I LOVE to do.
These are 1 inch by 1 inch in length and a bit longer with the leverback earrings. (1-1/4 inch). Proportions are everything and the look - not costume but real - is what I strive for.
