These earrings are inspired by Caroline Murat Bonaparte, but I have seen these in other portraits in the 18th and early 19th centuries - possibly beyond. They have glass pearls, one round stacked on top of the vintage glass teardrop. They hang from gold-plated hoop leverbacks, and measure 2 inches long. They can be worn in multiple centuries! Classic style, classic pearls.
Why buy anywhere else? All sales go to support my rescued and Colonial Williamsburg retired horse.
Portrait inspirations are - Caroline Murat Bonaparte by Elisabeth Vigee le Brun, and the portrait of a Woman in White by John Vanderbank, 1738. Last photo is of me at the Paca House and Gardens in Annapolis, Maryland.
