These are vintage cameos are in a beautiful filigree frame in gold-plate over brass with gold-filled earwires. I can change them to leverback or even clip-on/screw back if you do not have pierced ears. Please make a note if you want something different when checking out.
They measure 1-1/4 inches long.
Cameos have been around since the 1st Century B.C. They came in and out of favor in the fashions as did clothing. They can be worn in any time period as an old or new heirloom. Cameos with women's profiles were often seen more in the late 18th and early 19th centuries and continue to be worn up to today.
