This is a gorgeous set that will look amazing with your historical gowns or modern clothing. The sapphire paste surrounded by an OB clear rhinestone looks lovely at night or for use as day wear! The necklace measures 15-1/2 inches long and has a rhinestone gold-plated slide clasp. I have made matching earrings, sold separately hanging from a gold-filled earwire in two styles - they are surprisingly lightweight, and the double drop measures a little over 2 inches long, the single drop is 1 inches long. There is also a bracelet that measures 7-1/2 inches long and has a gold-plated rhinestone slide clasp.
Simple, yet elegant. The last photo shows what the back of the necklace looks like - closed back.
I can change the length of this necklace upon request by adding a decorative extension with some chain and a hook closure or even rings instead of the clasp which ties closed with ribbon.
So much inspiration for these. I started making collet necklaces early on when my shop opened in 2011. First photo is of Laurel in her 18th century finery.
