This listing is a collaboration with Museum Reproductions! I am in love with their creations, but will change a few of the elements to make them more historically accurate (clasp style), etc..
Imperial court jeweler Carl Fabergé and his craftsmen created magnificent eggs of various designs not only for Russian nobility, but also for European dignitaries and the Fabergé shops. In 1886 the House of Fabergé was granted an annual commission by Czar Alexander III to produce eggs for the Imperial family. These imaginatively designed eggs were meticulously crafted in gold and silver with enamel, precious gems, and semiprecious stones. This richly colored miniature egg brooch are inspired by these creations.
This necklace measures 16 inches long. It is made with pink seed beads and has a pink quartz drop set in a rabbit calix. The closure is a bullet clasp. It is truly unique and lovely.
