This cross is so pretty at 2-1/2 inches long by 2-1/4 inches wide. It is a lovely crystal cross on an antiqued gold base. It reminds me of those you see in the late 18th and early 19th centuries as well as during World War I Iron Cross! It is a statement cross that can be worn as a pendant on a ribbon, chain, or added to a pearl necklace. I can also convert it into a brooch. You see these types of embellishments on royalty and the gentry as well during the 18th and 19th centuries by royalty and even men in their college fraternities and other clubs.
I can add ribbon to this if you need it, just ensure you mention it at check-out. I do not sell chains.
If more photos are needed, just ask!
Portrait is of Baron Joseph Pierre Vialetee de Mortarieu 1805 to 1806 by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres
Last photo is a Carlos III medal created from the cross for a special client.
