E-0625 - Lucy Farnsworth 1860-1880 Earrings - 19th Century, Civil War, Victorian, Farnsworth Museum
$60.00
This listing is a collaboration with Museum Reproductions! I am in love with their creations, but will change a few of the elements to make them more historically accurate - in this case I'm changing the earwires to gold filled or can change them to leverbacks, if desired, as these have some weight to them. They remind me of machine elements - steampunk style! They are antique gold plated pewter.
They measure about 2 inches long. They are also lightweight.
These are the Lucy Earrings. Lucy Farnsworth, an astute business woman, dressed in the high Victorian style of her day. After her father's passing, she led her family's businesses to prosper. When she eventually passed away in 1935, she left over one million dollars in a trust to create the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland Maine.
My collaboration supports the Farnsworth Art Museum.
