This listing is a collaboration with Museum Reproductions! I am in love with their creations, but will change a few of the elements to make them more historically accurate (clasp/leverback).
This is the Cheapside Hoard 17th century reproduction amethyst white enameled necklace and matching earrings. The earrings have a gold-filled heart leverback that measure almost 2 inches long. I am showing the earrings as they were received, but this should have an earwire. The lobster clasp is more modern than should be on this necklace, and it should also be changed to rings. The necklace measures 18 inches long. The bracelet measures just about 8 inches long.
This jewelry was inspired by gems from the Cheapside Hoard discovered in an old wooden casket beneath one of London's busiest streets called "Cheapside" and had lain undisturbed for nearly 300 years. My collaboration supports the Museum of London.
