The FORGET ME NOT buckles were designed in collaboration with the amazing Lauren Stowell of American Duchess Historical Footwear.

They are mailed out in a special "K. Walters, Jeweler at the Sign of the Gray Horse" velvet bag.

These 18th Century shoe buckles are exact reproductions from an original pair that Mr. James Goucher owns, and Mr. Paul McClintock of From Common Hands Studio - named these since the detail looked like Forget Me Not flowers.

Listed are the FORGET ME NOT in an antiqued silver or antiqued gold version. They are solid cast, nickel-plated metal that won't bend or break. I also now have a gold version that is NOT antiqued. See drop down and last two photos.

You will receive a pair (two). The buckles measure 2-3/8 inches long, 1-1/2 inches high, and will accommodate a strap (latchet) width of 1-3/8 inches. They are easily attached and removed to accommodate shoes made by all different makers.

I may also have some imperfects which means the antiquing process did not fully take in some places, but the buckle itself is fine.
