I have been asked by many clients to offer scissors in my sewing section. Finding the right type that compliment the other items that I offer that can be used for so many projects is now here! I will have these with me at events as well just in case you forget yours at home. You can never have too many pairs.
This listing is for two lovely pair of scissors - one in silver with the handles and finger rings being that of a swan, and the other in gold with the handles wrapping around the finger rings with snake details. The snakes are going to devour the blades!
They are made from stainless steel and are plated. They are both at or near 4 inches long. The silver handles are wider at 2-1/2 inches wide, and the snakes are just over 1-3/4 inches wide.
Use these for most or all of your small projects, have a pair in your purse, basket, or just one at every place you normally sew - no more asking, "Where are my scissors?" These would also work well on an equipage or chatelaine which I offer in other listings.
Inspiration is from La Dime, The Tythe Pig dated 1760 in the Lewis Walpole Collection.
