This ring is an exclusive with the Gray Horse! It is modeled after an original that I own from the time period in turquoise/ruby (shown in last photo), and I wanted to offer it to others to wear everyday or for your costuming and historical needs. Okay - I wanted one for me too!

These will come in sizes 4-11, including half sizes in polished brass (does not turn as they have a flash gold plating on them) and sterling silver. I can also have them made in 10K white and yellow gold if desired.

I also have a couple in stock with all clear crystals and a ruby center in this style metal. See drop down for sizes in stock. It is noted as "BrassCRSize." I also offer the all clear with ruby center in sterling silver in another listing for those who prefer silver, or are allergic to other metals except silver!

The original Martha ring can be seen on-line. Diamond jewelry was in short supply in mid-eighteenth century America, making Martha Washington's diamond ring an impressive display of taste and wealth. Likely worn on formal occasions, the luster of the nine diamonds in silver collets would have been increased by the flickering candlelight of an evening party. However, the significance of its outward appearance diminishes in light of the secret gold locket mounted on the back of its setting. Behind the thin sheet of glass is a swatch of hair; although its owner is not known, its intimate placement suggests it belonged to a loved one.
