These are a vintage cameo that I have set in a simple gold frame in gold with cultured rice pearl drops.
I can change them to clip-on/screw back if you do not have pierced ears. Please make a note if you want something different when checking out.
They measure just shy of 1-1/2 inches long. They hang from gold-filled earwires.
Cameos have been around since the 1st Century B.C. They came in and out of favor in the fashions as did fashions. They can be worn in any time period as an old or new heirloom. We start to see the profile cameos at the end of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
