$300.00
I purchased this necklace years ago as it reminded me of so many in 18th and 19th century portraits. This one also has an Egyptian flair to it. I believe it was a prop from the 1920's Hollywood movies. It is not marked, and the clasp is very pretty. It is in excellent condition. The chain is probably brass with the floral beads plated gold. The pearls are large, they are glass, and the overall necklace has some weight to it. There are also rhinestone elements to it for a little sparkle if you look just above the beautiful leaf bead caps.
The necklace measures 16 inches long. The pearls measure 2 inches long from connection to the necklace to the bottom. There are 20 glass pearls that are about 3/4 inch wide.
This piece looks like it may be a Miriam Haskell design but is not marked.
Photo inspiration is Marie Antoinette by Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun. Also check out my Pinterest page at this link - https://www.pinterest.com/kkwalte/pearls-18th-century-and-19th-century-pearls/
