The single strand of brass or silver plated chain in two styles is so prevalent throughout time that it should be a mainstay in your reenacting, living history, or everyday life! These necklaces are about 50 inches - give or take a few inches - end to end so you can drape it appropriately. I have added a gold or silver-plated clasp on it so that it can be more versatile when hanging it from your clothing or neck.
The first photo is of the flower style. The seventh photo is of the clover style. The brass styles have a different clasp as the vintage style in photo 9 is no longer available.
This could also be used as a Regency or Victorian watch chain - they draped them around their neck - and the watch would be either fastened to a sash or belt or there was a watch pocket (fob) sewn into the gown for it to go into. There were also occasions that the item worn was not a watch, but was fake and there have been patch boxes made to look like it was a watch case hanging from the chain. You also see pendants, crosses, or other items hanging from them.

Need earrings? I have many styles of pearls available.
The 17th century inspiration portrait was taken from one that I do not have the provenience for (photo 6). If you know it, just convo me! Last picture is of and enameled necklace found in the Cheapside Hoard, Museum of London. Regency portrait is Wilhelmina Jacoba van Pembroek by Charles Howard Hodges, circa 1820 (photo 5).
