This quizzing glass is exclusive to my shop! It is based upon my own original (photo 4 in the very middle), and made with a 1.5-2.0 magnifying glass set in a gold or silver plate frame. It measures about 3 inches long by just shy of 1-1/2 inches wide with a nice weight to it (but not heavy) It is new with real glass.

The imperfect silver quizzers look fine in appearance, but the glass is just a little small and moves within it. So when you move it back and forth quickly, you can hear the glass move. If you don't care, they are less than half price.

Quizzing glasses were around before the 18th century, and were either with clear glass or a magnifying glass. These can be worn to help with reading, sewing, or just to stare at people quizzically! They are unique and exactly as my original without the detail on the metal (I decided to to create them without it).

I also sell chains that you can use to wear these, or wear them with ribbon.
