This is a wonderful find! I have gold or silver-plated over copper floral hair combs. The center has a beautiful tulip and leaves and other floral details. This comb has some weight to it but will sit nicely in an updo or on the side of a french knot or twist.
It measures 3-1/2 inches wide by just slightly less than 3-1/2 inches from top of the comb to the very bottom of the tines. Both sides are decorated the same and have the same lovely details. You will receive one (1) comb.
The inspiration of these combs comes mainly from those seen in very early 19th to early 20th century portraiture, pictures, and originals. Inspiration is of an unknown girl whose painting is at the Greenbrier in West Virginia, and the last photos shows a Regency lady with something similar at the very back of her updo.
