SL-0011 - Vintage 5/8 inch Horse and Horse Shoe Button Cufflinks or Sleevelinks

I found these buttons where I knew they would be perfect for several pair of cufflinks (sleeve buttons or sleeve links). The buttons are 5/8th inch, and they are connected with infinity wire on the back that I put on them. I, of course, have kept a set for myself!
They are a gold-plated pewter where some of the plating is rubbing off. Some of the horse detail is also gone so they were handled by someone to get that wear. I suspect these were on clothing and removed, but I am unsure. The set shown has more horse detail than some of the others. The set I am keeping has no more gold plate on them. You will receive two pairs (1 set).
In the 18th and 19th century, there were cast metal buttons as well as engraved so these are accurate in how they are made. They are an inspired set as I have not seen this style made, but would be fine to wear if you so desire (as I will be).
