This listing has gorgeous Hair Combs made with vintage cameos. The design and creation is from me and they are an exclusive to my shop. I purchased at auction, years ago, one very similar that came from an old Hollywood costume closet - dated in the 1930's. This diadem gives you the absolute right look for your late 18th century and early Regency impression. It can also be worn for a wedding or even the prom in a French twist. The base combs are marked and made in France. I have one made with a brown comb and one with a cream.

The cream comb has the horse cameos as well along with ladies facing to the left and a central focal point with Cupid and Psyche and a man with a lyre which depicts love, attraction, and desire.

The cupid blue comb has three cupids in the center each playing a musical instrument, a Aphrodite in a chariot pulled by a winged swans (or doves), and two Roman soldiers facing each other on the ends all in blue vintage cameos.

The cameos are vintage made of resin. This is worn towards the back of your head in an up-do or with a wig and can be put in your hair either way depending on how your hair is done up. It can also be put into a wig or at the back of a french twist. This measures 5-1/2 inches long by 3 inches high. The comb is new, the elements on it are not.

Each tiara that I make is different. There are times when I will make duplicates, but I like to make unique items - that way those showing up to the same ball, prom, etc., are not wearing the same thing.
