This is a reproduction memento mori ring after an original (which was gold washed) of those given and worn during the 18th and 19th centuries to remember a loved one. It was also sometimes worn just to remind you of your mortality! This one is sterling silver with about a 4mm band with black enamel higlighting the skeletons in the silver. Underneath the raised rock crystal enclosed coffin, is another skeleton that is also a part of the ring. It is a truly awesome piece and can become a family heirloom.
These are handmade in the U.S.A. I currently have the sizes listed in stock.
