This listing is for a vintage brass connector that would be perfect as a closure for a lightweight cloak in silk or an open robe for Regency gowns. It is made of brass but has more of a copper content so looks coppery.
It is a blank canvas as well to change by using a gold gilt, paint it with enamel the color of your choice, or leave it as is.
It measures 1-1/2 inches together. Each side is 3/4 inches. They are super lightweight so would not be good to connect heavy fabric. The hook on the back is nice and long to keep it closed so would need to be sewn on to your project far enough to have a bit of tension.
