The CHARLOTTE buckles are exact reproductions from an original pair that I own.
Listed are the CHARLOTTE in a capri blue paste. You will receive a pair (two). The buckles measure 2-1/4 inches long, 2 inches wide, and will accommodate a strap (latchet) width of 1-1/4 inches. They are easily attached and removed to accommodate shoes made by all different makers.
These are very similar to a pair that Martha Washington wore. I also have them in several other colors, just search for SB-0016 or "Charlotte" in my listings.
The shoes shown are from Samson Historical in woolen shoes in gold.
