This listing is for a unique two toned earring where the gold-filled earwire that I added to the drop are reminiscent of the Renaissance - or Southwest style. The rose cabochon center is brighter in the photos than they are in person, and is surrounded by the gold that ties to the earwire. The drop is silver-plated possibly over copper.
It measures 1-1/4 inches long by almost 1 inch wide. The inspiration came from the shape seen in the Renaissance. But, I also see it come back in Regency or Federalist styles in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. These can be worn everyday as well.
