N-0030C - Gold Pearl Chain Necklace with Cultured Pearls - late 18th Century to today
$22.00
This is a really beautiful chain with cultured pearls dotted around it which is a classic necklace. So beautiful and delicate! Such a classic style. It has a lobster clasp on this one which is more modern than what I usually offer - if wearing for living history, just cover that clasp with a ribbon tied in a bow. The pearls are evenly placed on the chain and reminded me of one that Martha Washington wore. Each pearl is a different size but fairly uniform which gives these a beautiful natural look.
The necklace only comes on gold plated chain, measures up to 18-3/4 inches long. It is very lightweight and has 20 white cultured pearls wire-wrapped and connected around the chain. You receive one (1) necklace.
I do have simple drop earring that will match this in another listing - look up E-0007 Portrait of a Lady.
So much inspiration for this necklace so check out my Pinterest board at this link - Last photo is one that Martha Washington wore courtesy of the Mount Vernon Ladies Association. https://www.pinterest.com/kkwalte/pearls-18th-century-and-19th-century-pearls/
