This listing is for a lovely vintage style necklace with cream glass pearls that has 6-strands of beads in two different sizes that end in a bead cover to protect the ends. It measures 17 inches long and can extend to 19 inches long with the hook and chain that I added. If you need a longer chain to wear it lower, just comment at checkout the length you need. I can add a chain to it that will allow you to extend it longer to make it more adjustable. When wearing for your costuming needs, you can just add a wide ribbon to the back in a bow to hide the ends.
Perfect for your everyday or historical/costuming needs. This necklace spans the test of time, and can be worn for multiple centuries as well as today. These are hard to find. I changed the clasp to a gold-plated hook to make it more period appropriate. Add a pendant to it, or twist it slightly to create a rope look. Very versatile!
You start to see these style necklaces in the mid to late 18th century on up to today. Pearls go in and out of style but are timeless.
