This listing is for absolutely gorgeous crystal reproduction girandole earrings that are very reminiscent of those made by Kenneth J. Lane in the 1960's, but these are a smaller version in gold or silver plate probably over copper. These are exact reproductions that spans almost the entire 18th century - and even into the 19th SO surprisingly lightweight, you almost do not know you have them on. They have surgical steel posts.
They measure 2-1/4 inches long by 1-1/4 inches wide. The photos do not do them justice, they are amazing.
Perfect for a wedding, living history event, a dinner date, or special evening out. These are a STATEMENT earring.
Inspiration portraits are many, but the one shown is of Maria Luisa as Princess of Asturias, in the gardens of Aranjuez ca. 1766, by Anton Raphael Mengs. The other photo is one of them on me. I do not like heavy earrings, and these are comfortable.
