These earrings are timeless! They are made of vermeil (gold plate over sterling silver) and have small crystal forget me not flower drops. I see them as little flowers or crosses- which always makes me happy. They are delicate looking. The hoop leverback opens and then clicks back into place.
You see ladies in the 15th on up to today wearing hoops with or without dangles. The hoops are 10mm and they hang about 3/4 inch long.
My inspiration is in the last photo of which I do not know the provenance.
