This listing is for a reproduction miniature of Martha Washington! These portraits are in the public domain, the younger painted by John Wollaston in 1757, and the older by Rembrandt Peale in the 1850's - a striking likeness of her.

These measure 2-1/4 inches long by 1-1/2 inches wide. The frame is in aa plated metal, probably over pewter. Some with crystals and some without.

The drop down will identify the miniature and connect to the frame. It is hard to get a good photo of these with the glass over them. I do my best!

It is really beautiful and perfect to hang on a ribbon or chain for everyday or your historical needs. You can also hang these on ribbon and pin them to your gown, put them as a necklace, or hang from a pair of pearls. I can add a pin to the back to also make it into a brooch for a few extra $$. Just convo me for more information.
