The CHARLOTTE buckles are exact reproductions from an original pair that I own (shown together in the last photo - original on top).
Listed are the CHARLOTTE in TOPAZ paste on a gold plated metal base. It is a deeper and darker yellow than the citrine buckles. You will receive a pair (two). The buckles measure 2-1/4 inches long, 2 inches wide, and will accommodate a strap (latchet) width of 1-1/4 inches. They are easily attached and removed to accommodate shoes made by all different makers.
These are very similar to a pair that Martha Washington wore. I have them shown on a pair of custom shoes made by Kevin Garlick using a silk/wool fabric sold by Renaissance Fabrics.
The second to the last photo is of another style that is offered in the shop that has clear crystals with the topaz in a silver metal, and the last photo shows the original (top) and reproduction (bottom).
