This is perfect as a shirt buckle, to close a scarf, to put on a lapel, wear on a tie, or for use in many impressions or to wear everyday.
These are exclusive to the Gray Horse and VERY unique - they have "GH" on the back to identify them to my shop. They are made in silver, antiqued silver, gunmetal, gold, or antiqued gold plate over copper. The original that it was based from was cut steel.
Price is for one (1) brooch. I have done my best to make them affordable! They measure 1 inch wide by 1 inch high.

I have found several portraits with a similar type shirt pin. The first is George Washington, portrait by Charles Willson Peale dated 1772, the second is detail of The Sharp Family by Johan Zoffany dated 1779-81, the third is the detail of An Experiment on a Bird in the Air Pump by Joseph Wright of Derby dated 1768, Elijah Boardman by Ralph Earl 1789, and the last is General Otho Holland Williams by Peter Egeli after Charles Willson Peale, 1975 1790.
