These are a really wonderful offering, pretty silver sparrow in flight with a vintage pearl drop. They hang from sterling silver earwires, and I also made pendants that can hang from a chain, ribbon, or whatever you wish to put it on.
Perfect for everyday, dress-up, living history, or just around the house. I see them worn for Georgian, Regency, Civil War, Victorian, and even Edwardian costuming/clothing. So versatile.
The earrings measure 1-3/4 inches long by 7/8 inches wide. Not too big, and not too little and not too long!
I call these the Holy Ghost earrings as in the 18th century France, the 'Saint Esprit' was a dove with wings out-stretched representing the Holy Ghost. It was also worn to signify love and power.
